Market Capitalisation reaches a record high, but not as a percentage of GNP
On a month-end basis, the total market value of BSE stocks reached a record high of Rupees 108,635 billion. Total market value (market cap.) as % of GNP is , however, well off its current cycle peak of an estimated 85% seen in February 2015.
